sorbo grey and birch effect

So I've been playing around with the Planner trying to come up with a new kitchen. I've been using cabinets with the Sorbo Grey front and birch effect frame. But I noticed that according to ikea.com, the birch effect cabinets aren't available with the sorbo grey fronts.

Anybody know which is right? The Planner or ikea.com?

Re: sorbo grey and birch effect

The cabinet box/carcass/frame is definitely available in birch effect. The boxes (white or birch colored) are compatible with all the doorstyles in the Akurum kitchen cabinet line. You can have either color with whatever doorstyle you like. It must just be a glitch on the website, not uncommon.

Thats what I am looking at using as well. What flooring are you using with the birch effect?

I've been blogged!
Re: sorbo grey and birch effect

There's a very nice kitchen in the E. Palo Alto Ikea with Sorbo, birch counter, and stainless appliances. Floor was wood as well, I believe--would certainly make sense.
