Need help with kitchen planner in 8'1" x 4'8" Kitchen

Alright so I've posted before but have tweaked my plan a little bit. We have to have the sink in the corner. I'd like to raise the corner cabinet to the ceiling, to give some space for the sink. And to maximize the space in our 610 sq. ft. condo, I'd like to stack additional 30" w x 15" h cabinets above each set of 30" wall cabinets but the planner won't let me. Also, this creates a probblem with the 12" cabinet on the side of the stove as I will be unable to stack a cabinet on top of the 39" wall cabinet. Finally, we are using a 30" wide refrigerator. I'd like to stack 2 30w x 24d x 15"h cabinets on top of the refrigerator which will have a wall built behind it and will need a cabinet matching panel on the side of it.

1) Can someone help fix my planner?
2) Any suggestions on the sink? We would like to use a single undermount sink in the corner. If possible, how do we go about doing that?
3) Any suggestions with regars to the 12" cabinet?

I've attached a copy of my planner and a link to my webshots so you guys can see the layout of my condo and some pictures during demo.

Thanks for the help in advance! Of course, any ofther suggestions or different layouts are welcome!

Looks terrific to my untrained eye! The only thing I would consider is maybe lighter, brighter cabinet doors in such a small space...depending on your style & colour scheme, of course. I also had trouble stacking cabinets with the planner. Good luck!

Hmmm.. We are planning on using a slate tile for the floors. There is a window next to the door which lets some light in to the kitchen, however we live in the middle of Boston so it isn't a whole lot of light. Thanks for getting back to me. Any thoughts with regards to the sink. I'm having trouble finding info on different sinks even though I did a search on the forum.

Ooh, I love slate. I also looked into using that corner cabinet for a sink and a contractor told me you can't put a single, normal-sized sink in it, only one of those special batwing corner sinks that you see in the planner. He said that's because of the indented shape of the cabinet ( ie . the corner goes in). But probably you could find other corner sinks you might like better. A corner sink looks to me like a good idea in your space...but I'm no expert, just obsessed with kitchen planning right now!

Re: Need help with kitchen planner in 8'1" x 4'8" Kitchen

Sorry I wrote the previous post late at night with a few beers in me.. The ceiling is 108". If I use a 36" counter height (includes granite) should I go with a 39" wall cabinet with 15" wall cabinet on top of that, resulting in 17" of counterspace or should I go with a 30" wall cabinet with 15" cabinet stacked on top resulting in 27" between the top of the counter and bottom of the cabinets. The more I think of it, using the 30" & 15" cabinet combination might be best as I can have "trim" on the bottom and top of the wall cabinets.

Alright I think I just reasoned that out on my own but could use some input. Can someone please talk me through my options with the corner sink? I'll try to find the sink dimensions that I would like to use and post them at some point today.

Much Thanks!!!

Re: Need help with kitchen planner in 8'1" x 4'8" Kitchen

So I've done some more snooping and have seen some more ideas but don't feel comfortable with everything yet. My whole kitchen is hinging on this corner sink and I need to have this condo done by Dec. 31st. The sink we would like to use is a Franke #USBSK800-18 with dimensions of 17" D x 21" W x 8" sink depth. Also, I'd like to convert the 36" lazy susan to have one door on the diagonal.. Help Please!!!
