So, what do you all think? We're pretty pleased with the results, having taken the kitchen/dining room/family room down to the studs. This is a 1966 ranch house in the foothills of Tucson, Arizona. The puppies are Dirty Harry and Nina.
Wow that looks amazing!! It looks right out of a magazine. The leather barstools really suit and you've done a great job balancing the light and dark. Absolutely stunning.

Thanks so much! We're not huge fans of the tile, but since our other house has not sold yet, we have to wait to redo the flooring.
Wow! That's a beauty! And perfect for a Before and After article... If you'd like to put together some more details, we'd love to hear about the whole project. Are you game? It doesn't have to be long...just satisfy our curiosity.
Thanks for the pics - I'd love to get them into the galleries so the FANS can find them...would you mind if they were posted there?
Thanks again - great job!
Susan

Just one word, Excellent!
How were you able to get NBB? Seems very hard to get right now. Did you have to wait?
I'd like to go that route or with the supposely up-coming Nexus brown but I am afraid of stock availability and I am sppose to start in January or february.

I will ask my hubby if he can put something together for you. I did the design, he did the hard work (he's a brilliant engineer, so he did all the plumbing, electrical, etc. - everything but the countertop removal/refab/reinstall).

Anyway, excellent.

We got NBB from the Tempe, AZ store. It was about a 7-10 day wait each time we ordered new pieces. We were starting the renovation in September/October and just couldn't pick a cab style we liked, but we read on here they were bringing NBB back. So we bought the frames and just hoped we'd be able to get NBB. And right when we were ready to install, we were able to order NBB (early Nov). The only thing they didn't have were a lot of options for our 24" cabinet, so we put a wine fridge in... not very cost effective, but we love it.

Also, may I ask which cabinet you used in the corner next to the wine fridge? Is it a 36 inch one? Thanks : )
The countertops are soapstone. They have a really nice green color to them.
