I'm making a personal appeal to you for a donation to IKEAFANS.

This site is not funded by IKEA, nor by private investors of any kind. It's run by two people in Virginia, USA who pay for it out of their own pockets because they really believe in acts of kindness and enjoy sharing the IKEA way with others. And yes, because they are crazy.

If this site has helped you figure out how to put that IKEA piece together, design your kitchen, give you a place to show off your creative work...if someone here sent you some IKEA fasteners in the mail at no charge, or just provided moral support when the renovation work felt like too much, PLEASE GIVE TO IKEAFANS.

Yes, there's advertising. It generates a tiny amount and does not begin to cover the cost of bandwidth. None of the people on this site get paid a penny to answer questions, post instructions, design a kitchen.

IKEAFANS needs your help to stay open. It's really that simple. If you downloaded instructions, kick in $5. If you got help to design your kitchen, kick in $50-$250, 50% of what you would have paid elsewhere for a plan.

Contribute what you can. But please, contribute. Your contribution supports a remarkable place. When help is needed, help is given on IKEAFANS. Help keep this remarkable place alive by contributing right now.

I want to contribute.....

I am from Canada - can I mail a money order? Where and to whom??

I could not imagine what my life would be without this site. As I dont post very often I am here at least once a day and have been for the last year.....

Why am I the only response to this request?? Come on guys and gals......

Could you imagine the web without ikeafans????

Or you can use either PayPal or Amazon to donate money online. There's a page here: Support IKEAFANS! with links that also explains what the money goes toward and how you can get recognition for your contribution. There's also a button at left that can be used from anywhere within the forums.

I hadn't donated until now because I don't have a credit card. I clicked today anyway and saw that there is PAYPAL...oh happy day...the easiest way to pay (in my opinion!)

Now I have my little blue guy
And I'll be donating as often as I can. I love this place and don't want to see it ever go!
