Does anyone know if another manufacturers corner sink base will work with IKEA doors? I'm one of those locked into a corner sink due to plumbing and best looking place for it. I really hate the batwing double sink that Ikea has. Angling a sink base cabinet would make for too much lost space. I checked at HD/Lowes...but of course the party line there isthat it can't be done. Anyway to modify the corner cab to put a double sink in it on the diagonal? Thanks for the help!

Um, no. The CB37WB, or 37" corner cabinet will only accept the Emsen 2 bowl corner sink. To put any other sink in the corner would require you to purchase the wall corner, CW2530 and put it on
Akurum
legs (or Capita or Numerar). Then you need to make the base of the cabinet larger, to push the overall depth from 12" to 24" This can be accomplished, as I've seen customer bring in the step-by-step pictures of how it was done. It's not easy and takes a little re-engineering but it can be done. Since you're adding onto the cabinet base you also need to reinforce it both from below the base boards and above. The joint where you're connecting the original cabinet bottom and the new pieces is the area where this reinforcing needs to be done. Once the bottom is bumped back and reinforced use the back of the cabinet (original piece) to connect to the top of the cabinet. Repeat the steps for the top of the cabinet and you're done. Of course doing this negates the warranty on this cabinet, and quite possibly the cabinets connected to it, but I'm not sure. I don't advocate this in any way and please do not take my instruction literally. You will have to come up with how to do it yourself, taking into account your own abilities and tools. This is how one customer did it. Regardless, you cannot put a straight two bowl sink into the corner. Simply cannot be done.
Akurum definition
Akurum is the North American equivalent of FAKTUM; that is the fitted, frameless, component kitchen cabinet line, which when paired with door and drawer fronts as well as interior accessories makes up the full kitchen cabinet system.

A single bowl in the corner sink is okay, provided you alter the cabinet to make it deeper (to the base cabinet depth of 24"). You will also have to rout out the top of the cabinet too to allow the sink to fit in. This will require you to reinforce the top of the cabinet because the structural integrity has been compromised.
KM - Can you explain why placing a straight two bowl sink cab into the corner "simply cannot be done"? This is what I plan to do, as I don't really have another option.
What about the Emsen 1.5 bowl double sink? It's only 29 inches wide. I was wondering if anyone had modified the cross brace in the corner cabinet; I know this would void the warranty. I have a picture but can't get it small enough to post.
I've mentioned this before on another thread quite some time ago, so forgive the repeat. But, my
MIL
had a corner sink base (not sure the brand, but from a big box store). I know the door was only 12" or so. She had a full size, 2-bowl sink in hers. Perhaps it just can't be done with IKEA cab's?? I am at least considering a corner sink base if it can be done.

Well I shouldn't say "cannot be done". Nothing is impossible. Some things just take more work. First of all, to fit in a corner sink the problem is that of width and depth. You have to make sure your sink it placed far enough to the rear of the cabinet for it to clear the inside right angle of the doors. Then you have to make sure the rear left and right corners of the sink do not intrude into the walls of your kitchen. With an IKEA sink it's nearly impossible. We just don't make a sink the correct size. We've tried it in the store to no avail. So it's not impossible, but not done with IKEA product.
