There was a phone conference in mid-December regarding promotions, sales and new product coming in FY09 (starting in August 2008). New doors are:

Nexus in brown (think Hallarum but without the black grain)
Tidaholm in brown-black
Adel in beech (to replace Kalsebo most likely)
Solar in beech (to relieve the stress on Arlig beech)
Applad in black!

Finally an all black door to replace (sorta) Abstrakt black. Applad will also have accent doors in orange and yellow. So you can make your kitchen look like Jerry Seinfeld in Bee Movie or the Philadelphia Flyers, lol.

Cool...seems like there's a trend towards the darker cabinets. I don't get the Adel Beech at all, I'd rather see an Adel Black-Brown. But they must have forgotten to call me and ask about that....

Will the Solar in beech be a veneer, solid wood, or a laminate (like the arlig)? In a veneer or solid wood, I bet it could be pretty cool - a wood door with an integrated handle.

Hmmm. If we weren't this close to done with the backsplash, we would have to add some orange doors.

I don't have any specifics, or any pictures so I don't want to speculate. Common sense would seem to indicate that Solar would would be a veneer since it's intended purpose is to relieve the stress on Arlig beech and help the Adel in beech replace Kalsebo.
