Nexus black-brown

Nexus black-brown is going to make its south Philly debut middle of next week. We're putting together a little small business whoop-dee-do at what we in the biz call the "launch". That's the area atop the escalator just past the "open the wallet" area. That's another little bit IKEA-ese for all you fans out there. We're going to have a B3D18, B36 and B18. The bases are all on Numerar 4" legs. Again, probably middle next week and I'll try to get some pics.

Have you seen the black-brown color in person? Is it the same as the black-brown in the Effectiv and Billy line?

Can't wait for the pics. Talking to Ikeans in East Palo Alto they all seem to think it's going to be another couple of months before we see them here. I'm hoping to use them in my bathroom and maybe even in my kitchen instead of the Hallarum I currently have planned.

I was in the Bourcherville store yesterday and they knew about them, but hadn't received them yet.

I am crippled with indecision until I see these things!!!

I've seen the Nexus Black Brown in the Philly store and it's beautiful! It's the same color as the Malm... but I feel like it has more texture? You can see the wood grain and it looks yummy!!! The door and drawer fronts are available to be ordered... s if you want to order one to get a feel for it, how much could a 15" drawer cost?

The doors look spectacular! We do indeed have them in our launch area, along with some effektiv office cabinets in a small business setting. The grain is horizontal across all the doors and drawerfronts so it's not going to annoy. It's a very deep, very rich brown-black (the official name of the color, although it's the same as the bjursta or roger chairs). Any IKEA store should be able to order it, at least on the east coast. We've been selling it for almost two weeks now, and we also got in our sample doors of ALL the other new styles. Haven't seen them yet, but I am anxious to crack open a few boxes tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some pics up so everyone can see the glory of these new doors.
