As promised in my introduction here is what I am dealing with. The fpf file and a couple of screen shots (for the fpf impared) are attached. For those inquiring the sink is direct below the window. I couldn't figure out how to get it to show in the planner.

A little background on the kitchen. It was last redone in the 70's. I can tell because the walls are covered in a beigeish paneling. The cabinets are handmade and probably original from when the house was built in the 50's. I have three possibilities for the kitchen.

1. Redo the counter tops. This will definitely be done. They are old, cracked and the sink needs to be replaced.

2. Redo the walls as well. This will probably be dependent on how the paneling is attached to the walls and what is behind it. I haven't determined that yet.

3. Redo everything. My ultimate goal would be to take out the doorway next to the fridge and extend the cabinets all the way around. This wouldn't create any problems with traffic flow in the house. This is obviously the most expensive and the most time consuming.

So if anyone has any ideas, suggestions or questions please let me know.

You'll want landing space on both sides of the stove and sink.

Anyways, the fridge is on its own corner ... tall cabinet for lots of storage where you had the fridge before, an 18" drawer unit, stove, dishwasher, a 36" blind corner with LV pullout, 30" for sink, and 12" pullout for trash/recycling.
