Nexus Yellow Brown with one-row of Abstrakt White - Feedback please =)
Hi all,
Just figured out how to start a new thread.
I really like the Nexus YB as it reminds me a lot of teak. I have a small galley kitchen 9" by 6" with slate like tiles (mostly browns/greys/some pinkish tones too) which will stay.
We plan to open up the wall on the left side, and 18" of the wall across from the fridge. This way, at least part of the kitchen will be visible from the living room. It will still be a galley, but hopefully feel more open. Countertop likely to be a lightish grey/brown granite
Questions:
1) Not sure if the Nexus YB will be too dark for my kitchen as there is no natural light. My father really wants me to choose the TIDAHOLM Oak, as he feels its better for resale, but I don't like it as much.
2) Also, not sure if I should do both sides in NYB or keep the right side with White ABSTRAKT cabinets.
Please see my gallery for photos of my existing kitchen and I"ll upload my IKEA Kitchen Plans for viewing as well.

I like the combo of wood and white but something's not jiving for me with this layout. I think it might look better if you had both sides of uppers with Abstrakt and all the lowers in Nexus YB. It would look more intentional that way. Otherwise, all Nexus YM would look pretty too. Or what about glass fronts?
