seriously! cause i know when i open my solid door what i really want to see is glass shelves!
i guess we'll now have an option to leave the door off? (sorry, but after using that corner cabinet once i will avoid it in the future, i'm just not a huge fan of the wall corner cabinet)

I'm with you Dulci. I really dislike my corner cabinet as well. I'm still thinking of storing real tall items seldomly used. How/why would someone want glass shelves in there???

Any idea what the "darker" version of the ulriksdal will be?
I am planning my kitchen on the ulriksdal but when I went to Ikea Burbank, they said it will be discontinued in September....The picture in on the Swedish site of the Ulriksdal IKEA | Kök | Kökssystem | Fristående kök | Bänkskivor with all that lovely tile work is the exact same as the one in the Brochure I picked up at Ikea so I don't think that is it. Do I wait for the change or will I be waiting years?

Ulriksdal is sorta darker. The pics. I've seen look just like what I saw at IKEA. It's a beautiful doorstyle, I'm still just worried about dust collecting in the grooves.
Doorstyle: Adel Medium Brown (or Fagerland, or Liljestad)

Hmmm.... maybe try to geek out like me and use compressed air (from your local computer shop) for hard to clean spots. I haven't tried this with those doors though, but it could be worth a shot.

there are always ways of cleaning the grooves (i imagine the Mr clean Magic Eraser would work on Ulrik like it does Stat)... for me it's just not wanting to spend my time cleaning the grooves.

Was in the Burlington Ontario store tonight again......trying to find those brackets (no luck) but - also managed to tell four couples about IkeaFans site......hopefully will see them on here......
I had to interrupt one exasperated couple after I overheard hubby tell wife "stop trying to park a bus in a parking spot for a mini" LOL - it made me laugh....I told them all their Ikea dreams could and would come true if they came to this site.....
I digress,
Just wanted to let you know that all the corner lazy susans are on sale - I am pretty sure was half price.....maybe the new ones will be in the stores in time for my new install?
Also - they did not have the Adel glass doors up - wanted to ask if something weird was going on with them why they were not on the display wall but could not find an Ikean and it was already past closing time....
Could it be true that they are changing them???
