I heard same from my planner last Sat., but she corrected herself to say they're being redesigned for Aug release. Hope it's not a radical change if I need to get a few more!

Can't find it posted anywhere else on the site but the new 2009 preview for the USA is up on the IKEA site here. On page 35 you can see the new lazy susan in detail (although the UK call centre is tonight insisting it doesn't exist!).

I am curious...is there some kind of lazy susan thing for the corner wall cabinets right now? I hadn't seen them before, but these look like glass (page 35)?
I definitely dig the solid bottom lazy susans, and may have to swap out right away come August.

It's so exciting! However, I have just spent over an hour on the online chat with Natalie in the UK, gave her the part numbers for the new glass wall lazy susan and solid base carousel and she insists that they have both been discontinued! I said 'before the catalogue is even issued?' and she said yes. She also told me that there is going to be no replacement for the discontinued wire lazy susan in the UK. Madness.

I'm really looking forward to seeing them in the flesh. Currently there is no lazy susan for the wall corner and this one has the added bonus of looking like a cake stand. Yum.

Thank you for the link! The new kitchen doorstyles are shown (Applad in black, yellow and orange, Rubrik blue/grey (which just looks black to me in the pic.) as well as Solar in beech. I was hoping they would show a kitchen pic. in the new Nexus Brown, but nada.

I thought the "Slatthult" collection of self-adhesive picture frames on page 19 was ingenious for those who are living somewhere that they can't put nails in the walls. Great for dorm rooms/apartments.

They are scheduled for August, but that may be optomistic.
