Wow, those look great! Actually, they look almost better than the Lee Valley units and I bet they are cheaper.

They are not on the web site yet - how much are the different units?

We have a Lee Valley Unit that is crapping out on us. We were already thinking of returning it. But I fear that the way we altered our corner unit, the opening won't be large enough for these new blind corner susans. BUMMER!

May have to get the solid bottom one for the other corner unit, tho. Do they come in birch, or only white?

While I am here...anyone who has seen it, can you comment on the necessary opening on the corner unit for it to work? Ours is only 18" wide with the alterations. I can't use it, can I?

they come in some sort of gray, I'd say RAL9007 or something

Does anyone know if the knew Lazy Susan fits in the old 49 inch cabinet?

When we bought ours (a couple of months ago) they told us the new one would fit so we decided to wait.
But the last time I talked with IKEA they said the new Lazy Susan may not fit in the old cabinet and there are none yet in stock to see.

I don't mind doing some hacking to get it to work I just would like to know if I need to find another solution instead of waiting for it to come into stock only to find it won't work.

dunno for the imperial measurements, but they fit in the same boxes as the other ones in metric

Just for info...in Switzerland they are disconintuing Adel MB doors. We just finished our new kitchen in them, and when we went to order a few extra pieces (drilled some doors wrong...oops!) the lady told us if we wanted any other cabinets to order them right away, because as of July, they're not being sold anymore.

I think ours are the Metric ones too since officially Canada has been metric for ~35 years but at IKEA they always talk in imperial.

The Canadian web page does say that it is 124 cm not 49 inches. So hopefully its the same.

trick appears that akurum and faktum appear to be using the same base pieces, with variation in widths (akurum having more variety available)
