15 in Wine Rack Solution needed

Hi - I have designed my kitchen and then realized my wine rack does not come in a color that complements my cabinets. I am using the Adel MB cabinets with birch on the inside. The corner space is 15 inches and would fit the Perfekt wine rack - the color just does not work. Does anyone have a solution for this size space. I just saw the new Inreda wine shelf on ikea.com, but it does not include the dimensions. Depending on the dimensions, I was thinking I could build a shelf with side panels and use the Inreda as shelves, but I do not know if this will work because of size.

Thank you to all who assist with responses. I really appreciate it. My new walls will be in soon and I am really excited to buy the kitchen I just don't want to purchase till I know what I am doing!

Re: 15 in Wine Rack Solution needed

There's a number of possible solutions... If you want the best possible fit color wise, you could always build a custom wine rack out of a cover panel, something long the lines of what JordanL did way back when.

Basically it's just two strips of cover panel with short pieces in between to make the wine cubbys. You could do the same thing in more complex configurations to fill the available space.

Or you could always try painting the PERFEKT? Sand the pieces down (lightly) and then paint them with a good high quality paint like cabinetcoat or Fine Paint of Europe in a color that's complimentary to your kitchen. Maybe make it an accent piece?
