Hi! I'm new to this site and was so excited to find it - I can't tell you how much information and good ideas I've already gotten from here!
We're planning a kitchen remodel - probably not until next year some time but I've begun fantasizing already
- and have decided to go with an Ikea kitchen, Adel White. The only real problem I have with the layout we've gone with is the fridge - I can't decide if it juts out too much. Unfortunately I can't figure out anywhere else to put it, as it's too deep to go on either side of the doorway. The stove and dishwasher also need to stay where they are, so my options are limited. Any advice or comment anyone may have is much appreciated!!
Oh, and the two base cabinets to the left of the fridge with the chair are meant to be a desk area - the countertop will span from one to the other. We are not sure about the pulls yet, or the countertop colour, but it will be sort of a transitional look, I think. Dark laminate (hardwood look) flooring, maybe some cream tiles with red mosaics thrown in for the backsplash. I can't wait to get started!
