I am trying to finish up my plans to place my order tomorrow, but have run into a little snag and could use some advice.

I am attaching the plan file, but there is a cabinet in there that doesn't show up properly in the 3-D view. Above the 30" sink base there is a 30x24 fan cabinet.

As the sink base has to be 30 inches minimum, and I want a p/o for garbage somewhere, I think the base cabinets are pretty much set. It is the uppers I have some doubts about. I just want to be sure I am doing the right thing.

I want the cabinet above the sink to be a bit higher than the rest, as I plan to install a pole there to hang things on to drip dry into the sink. It looks like I have options of 12", 18" or 24" for the height and I am not sure if one is better in this case.

I am doing the 15x15 square cabinets in the kitchen on one wall and do love that look, so I just wanted to see if there are any ideas other than what I have so far.

Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated!

I'd put the rod as high as I could reach comfortably and fit a cabinet above in whatever space is left. I'd want the sink to be usable when things are drying.

Thanks for the response. That is a good point. It seems that perhaps the 18" would be the best for that. However this means that the "top" cabinet on the pantry would be 24" tall, then a 39" tall upper (15" wide) then an 18" tall upper and finally another 39".

Does that sound strange?

The difference wouldn't bother me but check it out...all 3 heights are shown...
