6" Capita Legs on Pantry with Plinth?

Hello. I am trying to plan down to the details, and I find that I need the 6.75" capita legs on my pantry. It butts up against my fridge cabinet to put it at the right height. On the planner, I see that it lets me select plinth while keeping the legs at 6.75 height. But, in real life, if I use these legs, can I still use the plinth? I would probably have to custom cut a plinth.... what do you think about this?

ps I would use regular $6 akurum legs but they don't appear to go that high.
do those clips I see work with the akurum, and will it look okay/good?

I mean, do the clips work with the *capita* ? And will plinth look right with 6.75" legs?

Re: 6" Capita Legs on Pantry with Plinth?

I have capita legs on my cabs and we are using a toekick. In order to be able to use the IKEA clips to attach the toekick to the 4 inch capitas, you need to do something to the capitas to fatten them up. They are approx. .1/4 inch less in diameter than the plastic legs. The 6 inch capitas are a bit chubbier, so they might work better. But in any event if you have to beef them up that is done easily enough by wrapping them with something -- tape, garden hose, whatnot. Because I am probably going to do a custom toekick, I probably will find a way to attach it using heavy duty velcro.

Regarding plinth -- I am not sure it is tall enough to work with a 6+ inch setup. I *thought* they were sized to fit the standard 4 3/8 inch toekick height, but am not sure. But toekick is not that hard to make. What color/material were you thinking of using?

Re: 6" Capita Legs on Pantry with Plinth?

I am thinking of using the leftover from a 3x8 white cover panel (the one I am going to use on the back of my peninsula). I should have enough left of that...

Now that I think of it - is that 3x8 white panel the same color, finish as white plinth?

If not - I need ideas!
