my kitchen plan

here it is...
I have had some issues with the planner like putting in filler pieces and cover panels to cover up the white cabinets and when I look 2d it looks like the cabinets might be overlapping.
Strange I guess this is just some of the quirks?

In any case it is a galley kitchen the one back wall by the dishwasher is a sold wall the other one is an opening to the entrance hall.
I don't plan on using ikea counters but wanted to plan out a look.

let me know what everyone thinks
hope uploading this works.

Re: my kitchen plan

Hi and welcome!

You have a tiny space there! I don't know that the horizontal wall cabs would be the best option for storage for you, but I get that you're going for that look. They are just a little harder to use in terms of storage. Have you seen them in person? I also think that you might not want quite so many glass fronts, think about how much stuff you have that you actually want to have on display. And with such a small space, make sure you have very good lighting options, especially with dark fronts. You might want to consider using Abstrakt white on your uppers as a contrast to lighten things up a bit.

Do measure very carefully...the horizontals aren't quite the same sizes as the other cabinets and in your space a half inch could make a big difference.

Are you planning on using the B12 next to the sink as a trash pullout? If so, you'd want the BPO12 cabinet rather than the B12.

You say the range wall is open, but you've got wall cabinets there...where exactly is it open?

edited to add: moving to Kitchen Planning rather than Elements

Re: my kitchen plan

thanks for the reply
I think what I was saying is that over the stove will be an over the range microwave.
I have seen the cabinets in person and I liked them alot.
Are they more difficult to use?

Ya and I am going for a certain look, very streamlined and I thought the horizontals would also be more practical to use. I plan to basially use them for dishes and glasses and some serving bowls and stuff.

I had not decided on what to do with that 12 inch by the sink but I love the idea of a pull out garbage. I was not sure where I was going to put the garbage.

I think the stove wall I do't have any filler but I do know on the sink wall I have some fillers. I was trying to get away from using it but the every other plan I come up with has so many for lack of a better word "jogs" in the upper cabinets.

I plan on doing a glass tile back splsah something refletictive and lighter in colour and going with Okite quartz countertops in a a look that resembles marble.

Re: my kitchen plan

I quite like the look of your kitchen plan. You might consider using abstrakt white or rubrik white glass fronts on the upper cabs; these are very pretty with the NBB. And I would do white counters, personally.

I highly recommend using the 12-inch cab as a trash pullout. I have an 18-inch pullout; we just put the trash cans in it today and I love the thing! There are a few threads here re the 12-inch version; you can fit a tall Rubbermaid (called the slimjim, I think) in there after trimming a few inches off the top; it uses all the available space.
