I am building a U-shaped kitchen. I have a single wall oven that I would like to have be at about counter height. The problem is I don't want an 80 or 88" tall cabinet because the leg of the U where the oven will sits is not against a regular wall. I'd hoped to build a 5' wall behind it. I had two thoughts:

1. Buy a tall cabinet and cut the top off (expensive).

2. Buy a low cabinet (like the WRD3024) and thenstack the wall oven above it. Is there a cabinet that would facilitate this? That is, is there a 30" cabinet meant for installing a wall oven?

You can place a 30" base cabinet above another 30" base - the total height of this combination would be 65" plus the top of the oven cabinet. Below the oven you could have a B4D30 (four drawers) or a B3D30 (three drawers) for pots, pans and accessories. You would also require finishing panels on the sides of the oven cabinet (assuming they are exposed). The WRD3024 can also be used - the oven would sit 6" lower than the above design, however, there are more options re: drawers with a 30" base.
