I have seen several threads that discuss "shallow" 30" drawers, but since they are referred to as going into oven cabinets, I assume they are standard *depth* drawers, and the shallow is referring to its height?

So to my question!

I want to create a 30" wide, 6" tall, 12" deep (more specifically, wall cabinet depth) drawer. This would go into a 30X30 wall cabinet we are using for a narrow counter on one wall of our home, which would have the drawer on top and two doors below (though now I wonder if I want to make it all drawers... food for thought)

Does one have to make one for themselves from a regular depth drawer? Or do they exist in some fashion?

If one has to make it themselves, is there a thread somewhere here already outlining it?

there was a thread somewhere, but i don't know where.

what i do is take a 15" half drawer and a 30" oven drawer (6" tall) and marry the parts so that you get the drawer you're wanting. only mod you need to do: cut the drawer bottom of the 30"

Got it, yes I found something kinda of addressing just what you're saying. If we go this way, I have a plan now!
