The blank space to the left of the 18"drawer stack is a dishwasher. I've had to go with little appliances (24" LG fridge, 18" DW, but a standard range). The 30" Broan Silhouette hood is built in a chase instead of in a cabinet as I have no uppers. Looks like there will be Grundtal shelves to the right of the window and LACK shelves for display on the left.

Also, there is a brick chimney to the left of the fridge. It's an eat in kitchen (barely) and I decided to go without the island so we aren't cramped.

The 3 15" cabinets will store pantry goods and other stuff. ETA: There is plenty of clearance for these - the picture is deceptive. There is a doorway there that isn't in the planner image.

Standard countertops of Beluga Beige laminate.

Square gathering table that seats 4. Capiz shell pendant from World Market above that. Other decorative stuff. Laminate floor. Maybe FLOR tiles for the area rug.

Suggestions? Comments? I'm going with ARLIG beech (not in the planner), a VARDE sink (so the 12" + 30" sink base + 12" is carved in stainless, so to speak) and the Hjuvik faucet (tall one).

Lisa...sorry for the delay in getting to you--I was out of town over the weekend, and I'm just getting caught up. I think the little appliances will be great! You guys are a party of 2, and unless you do alot of entertaining, between yours and M's fridges, you should be fine. Is the DW enough if you run it once a day or every other day? I'd love to see what models you are getting. Can you post pics of the stuff? The appliances, your laminate, your shell pendant...

I think I'm having a difficult time relating your planner layout to the pics you posted before. Do you have a shot that shows the before room from this angle? I can't wrap my mind around the fridge being next to where the brick chimney was/is. Help me! :?
