I have picked out my cabinets and my design and have decided on putting 4 -24"x30" panels of numerar under the 12" overhang on an bar area. ( The back side of the cabinets where the stools will sit.)
The kitchen is not ready to put together but I have purchased the cabinets. I can always change this as it will be one of the last things to do. I could exchange them for fake door panels or cover panels if I want.
Iam having Adel birch w black antiqued granite. Floor is grey tile with sm amt of brown in it. I will have ss appliances and a ss wall hood. Will this be too much ss??I wish I could figure out how to shrink my photos.
I think it sounds great! Do bear in mind that stainless will scratch over time and with feet there might even be some dinging. Are you ok with that? The first ones will probably hurt no matter what, but if you think you'll get used to it over time, or you're like me, and LIKE patina, then I think it sounds fabulous!
For shrinking your photos, try Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com) or tinypic (www.tinypic.com). Both are free, easy to use image resizing tools. Of course, you could also upload them to a photo hosting site, and then link to them.

It worked! That looks like a great plan on first pass. I'll let some of the folks with less tired eyes take a better look at it for functional review, but overall, it looks nice!

I cant believe it worked!!! Yes I do love patina as that is how I have lived for many years. The wood under my other counter was dirty and black streaks from shoes and it never bothered me. My youngest is now a senior in college so maybe there is hope for a little bit until grand kids!
It does look out to the living room which could be a problem. It seems like w Ikea it can all be changed rather easily. How do the cover panels attach?? esp the ss ones??
