I love kitchen design, and I'll be happy to help you out with whatever you need. I'll take a look now and if I have any questions I will post them.
Some of us installed our kitchens ourselves, some hired contractors to do it, others did part and the contractors did part....and we all saved a bunch of money.
Be advised, though, that some contractors can be snobbish about cabinets, and might make some remarks about the installation process since it isn't the typical type of install. You'll be better off with someone who is at least IKEA-friendly, and you might even get lucky and find an IKEA certified installer. Where abouts are you located? Someone here might be able to give you some recommendations.
1. Are you in
America
? Because some of the IKEA appliances are not the standard American sizes on the planner, so you need to use the right ones.
2. What's the little wall, and what is next to it on the window side? Is that a dining area?
3. Do you have your range in that location currently, would you consider moving it, and do you have a vent hood there? Do you have your sink in that location currently, and would you consider moving it?
4. What type of cooking do you do, what is your family situation, what is your wish list for your kitchen? It might help you to find the thread on Writing a Mission Statement and do that to help us steer you in the right direction.
OK, here's what I think would work well for you. It gives you some really good storage options, more counter space and regular size appliances. I picked Stat White just for kicks.
The layout, from top left:
36" fridge (this is a large fridge, could be a side by side or just a very large regular or french door size, but nice for resale value) with a cavernous cabinet above (36 wide by 24 high AND 24 deep) which is great seasonal/infrequent storage.
Next to the fridge is a 15" wide tall pullout pantry, which holds a lot of stuff! Convenient to your range.
Next to that is a 12" base pullout, which would be used for spices, cutting boards, potholders, etc, followed by the range and then a large 30" drawer unit with two shallow drawers and two deep drawers. I have this cabinet and use it for ALL my pots and pans as well as ALL my utensils. It's very efficient use of space since you don't have to crawl into the cabinet to get things.
Above the base cabinets are wall cabinets, great for spices and more pantry items for cooking, as well as maybe serving dishes. Above the range is a 24" high cabinet which would house your vent hood and also maybe some larger pots, crockpot etc.
On the other side, starting from the dishwasher, there is a 24" wide wall cabinet above the
DW
for dish storage. The sink is on a 30" base, with a fan cabinet above that matches the one over the range. It is great storage for larger serving pieces, small appliances, etc. Next to the sink is another 30" drawer unit, and a 30" wall unit above. If you bake, this is a perfect place for all your bakeware, stand mixer, and baking stuff, as well as more storage for dishes and servingware.
I think this layout will work very efficiently, and it is actually quite similar to my own, so I can tell you that there is plenty of storage in these units. If you're used to the standard framed cabinets (with the frame behind the door) you'll be amazed and thrilled at the capacity that frameless construction gives you.
Cost of these cabinets with Stat White doors is around $2500.
Anyway, let me know what you think! I uploaded it to your space and called it IKEAFANS.

Bailey - welcome! I see that our resident KD is hard at work whipping up a fabulous design. I will say that you may not need the help assembling the cabinets - they're really not that challenging. We put all of our's together and have a contractor installing them. I think we still saved money.
