I am interested in installing the SS508 Ticor Square Sink into a 30" base Cabinet. Does anyone know the rough dimensional width of the base cabinets (interior opening). I am thinking that the sink will have to rest on the edges of the cabinet.

The size of the sink is:
O.D: 30-5/8” x 18-1/8”
Bowl size: 27-7/8” x 15-3/8” (inside dimension)
Depth: 9-1/2”

I have searched the forum, and people have been rather vauge if this will work, some say yes, some say no. Some claim that you would need to notch out the sides of the cabinet for this to fit, I would not want to do this due to the fact that the dishwasher is directly next to the sink cabinet, and there is no additional space.

If anyone can offer any insite on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!

The sides of the cab are 3/4" each. The "30" cab is 29 7/8" wide. One or both of the top braces can be turned sideways, taking only 3/4" from the total depth of 24". I think you can squeeze it.

WAIT: is this a drop in or undermount? If undermount, I think you have to notch.
