I just saw this picture and MUST know where to find a wooden appliance garage (the accordian type enclosure on the on the left-most part of the counterop). I was looking at the aluminum ones yesterday at Ikea but I really want wood.

marshcl -- welcome to the forums! I'm sure Eva will be along...I know she's said who she got the appliance garage from before. Did you do a search on appliance garage? The search here actually does work pretty well.

As an aside, we used to live in Arlington -- right across from Ballston Commons. Small world...

Hi!

I got the garage from Kitchensource.com, it's made by National Products. I got the straight side 24" veneer door maple to go under a 24" wall cabinet in Nexus birch and it is a perfect match. Utterly perfect! Mine is unfinished, I don't need to have it finished and the color is so perfect I didn't want to risk darkening it. I do have in siliconed where it meets the countertop to prevent water from wicking up into it, and it's doing fine. It was around $100.

Thank you! I was hoping you would answer, because the matching of the color is SO incredibly great. I saw the metal ones at Ikea, but that's not the look we want with the appliance garage.
