I really like the style of the LILLJESTAD doors, but don't like the color. Do these come in different colors or just the one listed? Has anyone painted their cabs a different color?

kszal - Welcome to the forums!!!

Lidingo is essentially the same door style as Liljestad, but in white. Doors have been painted, but I don't think anyone has done so with Liljestad or Lidingo. I know that Fagerland has been painted, and I think the new Askome is unfinished, so it could easily be painted...as could any of the wood doors.

kate1234 is in the process of painting some Tidaholm doors, and I plan to test Tidaholm, Backebo and one other I don't remember....but I haven't started yet, and likely won't until the fall.

What color do you want?

Thanks! We want a warm white. Not stark white like the Ikea whites, but warmer - somewhere between white and cream.

It's possible you could achieve that effect by wiping a gel stain in a fairly light tone over the Lidingo white doors. Worth a try!

Thanks. I mentioned this to my DH , but he doesn't want to paint the cabs b/c (1) the paint will make them bigger, so they won't fit right, and (2) painted cabs will look "wrong" for some reason. (???) Don't know why - I asked him about it, but he just shook his head. Sigh!

	DH definition DH usually means Dear Husband (or, pick your own adjective starting with D).
