Regarding your original idea of the roll front cabinet: I have not used it to know specifically if it would work, but I'm wondering if you could put the roll front parts onto a deep cabinet carcass instead of a shallow one?
I'm sure someone here who's used it can say if this would work or not.
I have basically the same situation in my kitchen except I used a corner base cabinet so there's 12" on the other leg of the L and then the tall cabinet, or in my case a cover panel and the fridge, which makes that space slightly easier to access than what you've got
The stainless shelf on the range wall continues almost right into the corner and the side of the avskit wall cabinet is about 20" from the corner.
What about putting stuff you would normally keep on the counter top in that corner on some kind of rolling dolly? That way you could just roll them in/out without the difficulty of reaching back there and you'd save the expense of having to buy that swivel hardware...
I do think you ought to be able to modify the roll front cabinet parts to make a 24" depth cubby there, which would work nice with the dolly idea too.
OR instead...what about making that space into a countertop height pullout by putting a base cabinet in there that sits on top of the counter?
