Just did a kitchen in March and was working on a second don't seem to see rubrik glass on ikea's website for my area. I can't beleive it, they look great in my kitchen. I would have imagined they would have added more sizes not discontinued!
My kitchen has th BB nexus doors, complimented with white rubrik - lateral doors, and drawers. It looks fabulous.
they're now called Rubrik/Applad Accent doors (i know, idiotic) or something like that. They lump the glass Rub in with the hideous (
imo
) applad doors... drawers are still available.
i forget what colors glass are available now since they change it so often
I looked in the new 2009 kitchen guide, that has all the options of drawer fronts, and there was -- where the price for the drawer fronts would be. You seem to think definitively that they are not discontinued?
i have been wrong before. i would be really sad if i am. the good news is that i have successfully made an old rubrik (they redesigned in 09) into a pull out. i don't know if the newer one (thinner frame) can be drilled to accept the hardware.
Alas, considering that
Covina
had a blowout of white, green, and black Rubrik pieces a little while ago, I would venture to say that the older lineup has indeed been discontinued.
