Then click on 2nd floor, kitchen slideshow. The 2nd and 3rd photo show a door that is beautiful, but I can't find it on the website. Does anyone recognize it? Is it as nice in person as it looks here?

I just clicked on that link and noticed in the slideshow that there is a disclaimer at the bottom saying: "Not all products shown are available in all locations" or something like that. The door you mentioned is cool, but I've never seen it.

Nexus isn't my taste by the photos, but I'll look at it in the store -- it looks too laminated to me, like that formica butcher block that was popular in the 80s.
Any idea if Charlotte (who is just opening) will participate in the kitchen sale in March?
Nexus Yellow Brown looks WAY better in person, don't write it off till you've seen it . Another other one you might want to look at is Solar Beech, it's a lighter color but it looks fantastic, waaaaay better than Solar White which I personally don't like at ALL.

Did you make a door-front decision? We just installed Nexus Yellow Brown and it looks great. I avoided other laminate looking options, so I think I'm in your boat RE: not wanting anything that looks plastic-y.
