Glorystomper, Yours looks great. I'm afraid though of having lots of spills when trying to lift something like soup from a low level.

I definitely don't think the risk of spills is any greater lifting something up out of the drawer (about 10" below counter top height) than it is lifting something out and down from an OTR or under-cab style. In fact, I find it less intimidating to grab something full of hot liquid from a lower position. But certainly that's just personal preference.

Hi,

The cabinet + door is almost 13" deep so the GE spacesaver microwave is flush with the surface of the door (we had a plug installed just below cabinet height - it's not visible unless you sit on the ground).
