Advice needed on Kitchen remodel

I would love any advice anyone has for me with this kitchen plan. Any item swaps ideas..design changes to get the best storage? I can change electrical, but not plumbing, but i'm limited by concrete slab underneath.

I designed this kitchen around the existing one, and i do plan on getting flooring, counters, and appliances elsewhere, unless i find appliances I like that makes the % off too good to pass up.

I plan on adding a 12" overhang on the island for a small bar, but not sure which cabinets underneath. I put the shelves but not sure this is the best setup. I was hoping for a trash pullout somewhere..is this 15" pullout near the range the best spot? The micro should be above the range, and a cover panel on the over fridge cabs, they just wouldn't go in the planner.

I read that people LOVE the drawers verses the shelves so i tried to add a lot of those. Also..i read somewhere that some cabs have the drawers included and some don't? How do i know what's included in my parts list?

Thanks for any advice..

Re: Advice needed on Kitchen remodel

Quick comments- Looking at your pictures, it looks like you need a tall cover panel between your fridge and the base/top cabinet run. Also, it looks like you have a 12 inch and a 15 or 18 inch cabinet to the right of the upper corner? You should combine those if possible because the 12 inch upper cabs are pretty useless and should be avoided if possible.

Thanks Scrappy25 ...I ran to the store last night and i see exactly what you mean about the smaller cabs. And the cover panel on the side of fridge is the way to go. Until i actually SAW it in the store..i wasn't sure it was necessary. Def looks much better.
