Akurum is the North American equivalent of FAKTUM; that is the fitted, frameless, component kitchen cabinet line, which when paired with door and drawer fronts as well as interior accessories makes up the full kitchen cabinet system.
I went to my local Ikea yesterday and got a $116 refund.
It took awhile for the customer service people to figure it out with a manager because I was apparently the first one.
They refunded me to an Ikea giftcard, which I used that day to buy accessories for some modifications I am doing.

, I also exchanged 4 liljestad doors....took 1 hour because every door they brought out had some damage on them! Crazy! One even had a forklift rip it up, haha.
korgi, thanks for the info. I've been putting off going to make a return but this info has me more willing to make the trip. Hopefully I won't be the first one in my store, but just in case I'll make sure to eat a good meal before heading out.
Glad to see it posted again...I was waiting on some more news after seeing this thread. Looks like I'm going to get $52 + tax. I have another 8 hr round trip there to pick up my Applad Blac and Rubrik white doors. Gas and food are covered then!
$94 for me! I was quite impressed it was quick and easy. My Ikean went to the office, got the sheet, and patiently went through each of my receipts. However I do take issue with the fact that they do not have this prominantly posted in the store. There is nothing in the customer service area. I also went to the kitchen department to take a look at the new displays and there is nothing posted there either. I would never have know about this if I hadn't been here.
I had thought that my bill was a bit higher than the planner, but didn't have the time to look into it further! Discovered their notification on the Ikea homepage yesterday and was about the post it. Thanks korgi for being the first one in
