Hi, I wonder if someone can help. I am a newbie to this site and I am thrilled to find such a great resource!

I am trying to put my first plan together, so I am sure there will be plenty of questions to follow, so thanks in advance!

My simple question for now is how do I show a wall oven or a sink in my plans?

I know I have seen it on other posted plans, but I just can't seem to find the option in the 2007 planner.

Hello and welcome!

The sink is chosen on the left of the screen when you select the sink cabinet. There's options there for sink, faucet etc.

The wall oven is under Appliances/by Whirlpool for IKEA. Select the oven you want and drag it into the cabinet, it will snap into it!

Okay, that was my second post and I feel like a fool already :-)

I think this changed between the 06 and the 07 version of the software which is why I wasn't looking for them there.

Actualy, the oven was the same thing. I had to select it as an option on the left when I highlighted the tall wall oven cabinet.

Thanks for the help. I feel really bad that I managed to put nearly the whole plan together, but couldn't work out something simple like that!

Oh well, I am sure this is just the beginning of a long relationship between me and the planner software!

Don't feel like a fool! If you stick around here long enough, you'll find that Eva has a "way" with the planner -- it's almost mystical, sometimes spooky. She somehow manages to bend it to her will no matter what the situation. She's a whiz!

That said, everyone here was/is new at some point in time, so there's no need to apologize or feel bad about asking questions -- that's what we're here for!

Nothing foolish about your posts at all! As a matter of fact, it probably will help many people in the future, so you did a good thing.

The planner loves me it is true. Don't know why, but there ya go. :shock:

I have been reading this site for a few days, and cannot get over how great this community is. You both, as well as MANY others are very generous in the time you put in to help others! I hope that as / after I go through this whole experience I can give back what I am already getting out!

I am really close to posting my plans for people to help with ideas etc. Just double checking the last few measurements as I don't want to start with a bad room to start with. I'll be looking forward to some Eva magic then!
