I am considering Adel MB for island and pantry, and Adel White for rest of kitchen (on opposite side from pantry. would try to tie 2 together with apt granite countertop/floor and backsplash. Any thoughts onthis combination appreciated!

Are you close enough to your store for a side-by-side comparison? MB and White Adel are very different. The white is a high pressure laminate and MB is wood. The texture and look of the two are very different. But, that's just me, The important thing is that you love the look.

I think it could work really well as long as you realize (like previous post) that Adel white does not look like a painted Adel MB. The finish is kinda "plasticy". But that doesn't mean the overall effect won't look great.
Yes, I have looked at the 2 doors in-store, and am not 100% happy with the difference. Wish they created Adel White in painted wood. Think I am leaning to all all MB kitchen.....not as interesting, but maybe safer. Thanks for the comments.
What is it that you like about mixing the white and the brown? There are lots of ways of getting that look without necessarily mixing the cabs. For example, one of my favorite kitchens here uses Nexus Yellow Brown with white counters and Abstrakt white on the opposite wall- you wouldn't have to mix cabs for this to still look stunning.
You and so many other!!! You said it. So many of us want that painted door look. I want it to go with Tidaholm BB, but it is the same issue in Adel.
Ikea needs to produce an inexpensive 'unfinished' door. I'm sure there would be a big market for it. But then they wouldn't be able to give it the huge warranty they have.....
Wouldn't it be great, Kelly? Ikea makes other unfinished products like Ivar that are hugely popular. So many 'handy' or 'art-sy' types would love to play around with custom painted and custom finished cabinets.
They could have a slab door and a framed (like Tida or Adel). I am sure it would sell like crazy!
Plus it would give them so many opportunities to feature their fans creativity in ads, etc. It could really help them shed the (unfair) image of "everything looks the same."
