The software I downloaded (September?) seems to be outdated (prices good through 2005) and I can't seem to save to anything other than my c-drive. Ideas?

To upload it to the Ikea site, go to File | Save to IKEA

To get it back go to File | Retrieve from IKEA

You should be able to download a new planner and open the files on your C drive still though.

Does it sound like I have outdated software? The prices are only good through 2005 and my plans look a bit different from the plans posted here. If so, where the heck is the new software? I got mine from the ikea website.

I still have the same version installed - the only thing you'll have is price differences and possible missing new door styles. Everything else should be fine. I've heard that the new planner crashes more often than the old one which is why I've kept the old one.
When did you download? Here's the ikea page to download a new one if you need to.

Thanks for the welcome! I will post my proposed design soon for critique.

I guess I will keep the version I have if the new one crashes....

But under File I have the option to "Save" and "Save As", no "Save to Ikea".

Strange. Maybe I'll have to download the new software to get that option. I'm pretty sure I downloaded this software pretty recently; actually around the time I joined, August 30, 2006 or thereabouts.

Okay, I have to tweak my design and then off to kitchen design to post.
