I just talked to an associate from the kitchen department at the Pittsburgh store. I wanted to know if I needed an appt. to come in tomorrow to place my order, because I assumed the last day of the kitchen sale, combined with the fact that it's a federal holiday, meant it would be really busy. She told me that the sale has been extended until the end of the month.

I asked what day it will now end, and she said she assumes it will be the 30th.

I don't know if this is valid for all stores, but I imagine it would be. The IKEA site still shows 11/11 as the end date. So if you were planning to order tomorrow and want to take a little more time, call your local store to see if they're extending the sale through the end of the month, as well.

Hmm, I just called the Brooklyn NY store and they said the sale ends tomorrow.
