I doubt this book will give you any better information than you can find for free right here on IKEAFans. From what I have heard, this book details one person's kitchen installation experience, and is lacking in many areas because the writer's experience is limited to only one kitchen.
Heh. That's what this whole forum is here for! To help people help other people plan, build and celebrate their IKEA kitchen. Don't be afraid to ask any questions that occur to you, there are some folks here with an AMAZING store of knowledge/experience.

I wrote a "critique" of the book in a post about 6 weeks ago. It's here somewhere. I drove almost 300 miles today seeing clients. Gotta get to bed. I'll try and locate my old post for you in about 12 hours from now...sleep beckons.
I thought I posted here yesterday! Welcome mcgoose! I'm also out the door, but if I get back before Shouva gets up (I'm 3 hours ahead) I'll try to find the post as well. I know there was at least one other person who had purchased it and felt as though it made her husband more comfortable with the process as he could see the step by step.
If you can't wait for either of us, you can do a search on "kitchen secrets" or similar.
Thanks, everyone! I've been exploring the site, but haven't yet had time to really find out everything that's in here, but using your suggestions, I did see the thread about the book being helpful to someone's husband because of the pictures.
I think at this point, since it is a PDF download that I will hold off on getting it unless we get really stuck on some point that no one else can help us with--don't mean to sound as if I'm challenging you or anything!
