I am trying to finalize my kitchen plans and am becoming increasingly frustrated with the repeated error messages I am receiving when using the kitchen planner. The error message says it is Ikea Home Planner.exe AppVer 1.9.0.6. It happens when I have a lot of items in the design, starts getting slow and then i get an error message and the program has to shut down.
Our computer was purchased only a month ago. I am not very computer savvy; the info I have about it is: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor/2.02 GHz 992 MB RAM.
Unfortunately, that happens. More often when you're moving multiple cabinets around, or when you have a lot of cabinets. I find it's best, when it crashes, to reboot. I think it has a memory leak and repeated crashes make it worse. Also, save frequently when you get to the point of having a lot of cabinets. If you need to move something, wait and give the program time to finish moving before you click anything else. I usually move something, save, move sometihng, save, etc.
Good to know it isn't just me and my computer, I guess. I have basically been doing what you said about saving often, not clicking too quickly, etc, but haven't done the reboot. I'll try that next. It's just so frustrating because I am really close to finishing a design!
