Can someone please help me by looking this over?

Hello! I am very new to ikeafans and I apologize in advance if I didn't do this message correctly. I had help with the design and measurements from a professional company, but then I decided to alter the plans a little bit this weekend by switching the left upper cabinets to glass and I switched my original idea of Adel Medium Brown to Liljestad Dark Brown. I am wondering if it looks too weird having the glass on one side like that. I don't want too much glass because I know not everyone loves it and I need to keep that in mind for when I go to sell the house, but I do want some because I love it and the kitchen is small. Also, my house was built in 1910, so I thought that Liljestad went better with the house, but is it too dark for the space? I would be using Madura Gold granite for the countertops and Jeffrey Court's Fire and Ice for the backsplash.
I would like to go to Ikea as soon as possible to place my order in time for the sale so any comments are appreciated. Thank you!

If I stumbled upon a 1910 house with that kitchen in it, I'd be thrilled. The glass-front cabinets on one side are a nice relief from a room full of solid cabinets; I see nothing weird about that at all.

Dark? Yes. But if someone is looking at a 1910 house, they already like dark. I think the cabinets are a great choice.

Those upper corners look clunky without a neighbor. The blind corners, as in Dalbrough's kitchen are a more graceful look. Also a possible spot for glass.

Those dark brown cabinets with the glass are perfect for a 1910 house.

Love it, but I would skip the corner cabinets altogether and just run the wall cabs straight to the corner, leaving more open space around the window.

Ditto on the recommendation to lose the upper corner cabs. They encroach into the room, which is fine in a large kitchen, but in small spaces they just make the room look cramped. I would definitely go either blind corners a la Dalbrough or run the wall cabs straight to the wall as I-PIA suggested, whichever is more to your taste. If forced to choose, I'm of the straight-to-the-wall camp, but I could happily live with blind, too, if it were my kitchen.

Sorry. I should have mentioned that the soffit doesn't go straight back as the picture indicates, but instead matches the corner cabinets. I uploaded a picture of the current corner cabinets so you would know what I am talking about. There is only 10" of space next to the corner cabinet, so I wouldn't be able to put in an extra cabinet next to the window. I don't really like the corner cabinets either, but I don't see any other alternative.

Measure those existing corner cabinets to make sure that Ikea's generously sized version will fit there. Ikea's upper corner cabinet uses 25" of wall and a door that measures 16-5/8".

Oh, NBeth! How did we miss those big base drawers!? Yes, yes, yes! They're a definite must. I'm loving mine---no more getting down on knees to find something in the back of a cupboard.

Re: the soffit. In that case, what I'd do is a I-PIA straight-to-wall treatment---no corner cab, no cabs on window wall---and then install a flush pot light on the underside of the soffit where it extends.

Re: Can someone please help me by looking this over?

I will have to check about the upper corner cabinets. I like the idea of just running straight cabinets back, and the corner cabinets that I have now aren't used very well.

What do you mean by "big base drawers?" The only thing I could think of was the cabinet underneath the glass cabinets on the left side of the kitchen where I have shelves instead of drawers. This was because I need a 21" cabinet there, and the only option in 21" was shelves. Is there something else I am missing? Thank you, thank you for all of your help. I didn't realize people would give me so many suggestions to think about.
