ASKER rail system not so great
So I guess ASKER is the new NYLED. I like the look of it, but installed the rails yesterday and I'm just not impressed. Half the time when I take something off its hook, the hook comes out with it, and sometimes knocks out a neighboring hook and its contents. The accessories (I have the vase-like thing and the little ovalish shelf) seem to be more stable, maybe because of their weight.
I don't know how useful this description will be, but the top of an ASKER hook is shaped kind of like a golf club; you turn it sideways to put it into the slot in the bottom of the rail, then rotate it along its vertical axis so the hook is facing you. The face of the "club" is thus inside the curved part of the bar. But there doesn't seem to be anything to stop it from rotating sideways again, and dropping out, at the least provocation.
Just an advisory! Maybe I'm missing a click-in opportunity somewhere?
