My kitchen is 12.5 x 11.5, and one wall has two old fashion giant windows, (I refuse to cover them) right not it has several point less doorways but those are being removed. I wanted to do 39' cabinets with 15' glass front horizontal cabinets above them but they don't come in 36' so they would either over hang on the right or they would be too short, I could add a filler but I want it symmetrical. I am pulled to the stat cabinets but haven't ordered a sample yet, if the adele and the stat are the same white I may use the adele for the bottom cabinets. Also since the kitchen is so tiny some of the cabinet doors are going to butt up against walls, I realize this is a no no but I cant find away around it. Also the floating cabinet would fit on the fridge but the planner wont let me....

Is the window location correct on your plan? If so, could you do a U shape kitchen with countertop and cabinets below that window? It might give you a much more open feeling.

I wish but the windows are almost six feet... from the floor up, we are receiving grants and tax credits to restore the house and one of the many stipulations is the windows can not be altered.... it seems my only option is to go up and utilize the ten foot ceilings, .

Have you considered using a peninsula? I think you have space for one. If you want, PM me with your IKEA username and password and I'll see if I can work up an alternate plan to give you some ideas and options.
