After I proudly told her of my plan to remodel with Kalsebo and dark countertops, my friend suggested that one of the white door styles would be better in my small, open kitchen. I went up to IKEA to look at them again, but realize that they're not exactly bright white like the appliances will be.

My feeling is that they would look greyish or yellowish next to the appliances. If you've ever worn clown-white makeup, you know how it makes your teeth look (even when they're bleached)!

Has anyone here used this combination and been pleased with the results? What's the opinion of the designers here? I would most likely choose Ädel if I decided to go with white cabs. Thanks all!

Of course, after posting I found some topical messages and pictures. It looks like Lidingo might work better with white appliances.

not all white appliances are the same white either my dw, range and fridge are all different shades. But they look fine/great with my Stat Wh... My Stat seems brighter than my appliances.

i've never looked at the Stat next to the Adel. Guess you could buy a small drawer front and check it out next to the appliances.

I like my Lidingo with the white appliances, but they definitely don't match exactly. I think Lidingo and Stat are the same white, while Adel is slightly different - maybe more cream but maybe more gray, depending on where and who is looking at it.

Here are some pix I took at the Tempe IKEA of all the white doors side by side. You can see that there is a range from bright white to creamy-gray white.

Hi

We have just installed our White Stat Kitchen and although we have a mix of appliances you can see how the white works below.

I think it works really well, but I guess I would after all the work!
