Now that Hallarum and Nexus Brown-Black are out of contention, and keeping true to my "gotta have a slab door" mission, I am considering an all-white kitchen. Has anyone mixed Abstrakt White with Rubrik White? Aside from being much less expensive than Abstrakt (which is much more expensive that Nexus BB, but I digress), the Rubrik White might add a little texture to the kitchen. I'm not sure what I'll do with countertops yet -- white or wacky (Shetkastone or Alkemi). The floor will be Teragren strand bamboo, either in warm brown Chestnut or darker and more varied Java.

I think the Coquitlam store mixed those two in the display, that ironically, replaced the Nexus BB display they had.

I should be going by there in the next couple of days so I will try to get a picture that I can post for you.

If you look at the Italian Ikea site, you'll see an all-white kitchen that's reflective of what I've seen all over european design...white kitchen with a concrete countertop. Ceasarstone makes a great concrete-like countertop, fyi, that's much easier to take care of. Hope that helps! FYI, I've also given up on the Nexus BB but already had some white glass doors...the glass doors are really beautiful, so I'll be sure to incorporate them into whatever design I end up with!

not sure where to post; but envisioning (possibly) incorporating a bit of Rubrik turquoise; but having difficulty finding what sizes these doors are available in.

am under the impression that Rubrik, in general, is limited (thus, not every cabinet has a corresponding Rubrik front) -- is this correct?

is turqouise even less available than white or stainless?

Rubrik doors are available in the following sizes: 15x30", 15x39", 18x30", 18x39", 15 & 18" 3-drawer fronts (black, white and turquoise).

torrus, I'm curious - on our Rubrik page in the IKEA products directory, there is a photo of a rubrik display featuring high cabinets (aka pantry cabinets). Are the tall doors not available?

I wanted to double-check the pantry cab. doors, but yes they are available in 15x80" and 24x80" sizes.

Please note that the hinges are included with the Avsikt (aluminun frame) doors, but not with the Rubrik doors (regular Integral hinges).

on page 80 of the PDF of the 2007 catalog, I see that several tall pantry cabinets are available in the 15x80, 24x80 size. Rubrik appears in columns GHLS and GHLD (as does AVSIKT) but I'm wondering specifically if this glass door can be utilized for Pantry With Drawers (H5D)
