Question Stat kitchen cabinets

I am new to this web site. I would appreciate if you could let me know what is your experience with STAT kitchen cabinets and show me some examples of finished kitchens with these cabinets. We are remodelling our house and we use a lot of natural knotty pine (no stain) throughout our house. Our kitchen will be on a walk out level and so I am reluctant to go with dark colors. The room is fairly large (22'x19') and I am planning to use it as kitchen and dinning room. Our ceiling as well as our doors and windows are made of clear knotty pine.
I want to use cherry butcheblock for countertop. My husband is afraid that STAT is too ordinary. We have a beautiful travertine tiles and I am struggling which cabinets match our floor and our pine doors and windows and Husar pine cabinets we already have. Sorry for any grammatical errors, I am foreigner.

Hi Marta!

Welcome to the forum!

I own Stat White kitchen and I love it for my small kitchen. It's definitely got a great vibe to it, but I feel like it might be a bit too casual for a dining room area. Others might disagree with that, but it's my feeling.

Have you looked at any of the Adels? If you want a white kitchen Adel White might really look good with all the pine and also lend itself to a more kitchen/dining experience.

I would post pics but unfortunately i'm still in the detail part of my kitchen reno and i'm lagging behind

Again, welcome and happy tko

Hi Marta and welcome! Which IKEA will you be shopping at?

Have you seen Fagerland? It's a knotty pine door, too. I agree that Adel White might be a nice look for your home.

Welcome Marta!

Have you checked out the IKEAFANS Gallery? (There's a link to it in the middle of the blue menu bar above.) There are a few Stat pictures there and also some in the forums.

Blondie is transforming her kitchen with Stat. You can see pics of her progress here:
http://www.ikeafans.com/forums/progr...ly-yellow.html

I'd also encourage you to look Fagerland or Adel White or even Lidingo.

We're here for you! Let us know if you have any more questions!

Thank you

Thank you to all of you for your replies. Yes, I think that Adel White would be better than STAT.
I think I just needed collective wisdom to confirm.

Even though we use a lot of natural pine in our house, I would like to have a streak of the 21st century. Adel White could do it. I really like medium brown Adel but I have difficulties to picture it with the light wood we use on one half of our ceiling, doors and windows.

I believe Fagerum is nice but it has antique finish. I prefer clear finish over antique. I will be buying my cabinets in Minneapolis store. Hopefully it will get warmer in the next copule of days because it is really really cold here right now.

Hi Marta! Welcome to IKEAFANS!

I just had to say - your English is wonderful! I have Stat White in my breakfast room, but I think I agree that Adel white would be better suited for what you describe.

Here are some pictures for inspiration - they all came from the gallery, which you can search by clicking on Galleries above on the blue bar, then on the grey search button. Enter your search terms and away you go!
