I should be ashamed to admit this, but our kitchen remodel has taken so long that I could easily wait until new 2008 doors come out before choosing.
Has there been any word or speculation on new door styles? I really like Liljestad but it's a little too dark for me. Adel is my favorite but it's a little too modern for my traditional space. I'd LOVE something in between those two (as far as color - love the traditional look of Lilje). We will definitely go with Lilje if something else doesn't come along.
Anyone? Anyone at all? (Or did I miss this thread somewhere else???)
Welcome to IKEAFANS! We usually get the early word sometime in March or early April. As of yet, there's no rumblings - I heard that it hasn't even been decided within IKEA yet, but I have no confirmation of that. As torrus said, as soon as there's a word on the street, you'll find it here.

Any word folks? I remember last time this year, rumors were everywhere. This year, not so much. Either there is no buzz because there is not much to buzz about, or IKEA has found a way to control the rumor mill...

The new styles I have heard talked about are Arlig Medium Brown, Solar, Nexus Yellow Brown, and Nexus Cognac. Do a search on those terms and you should find a few threads with information. Anyone know of any more?
There are only two new door styles being introduced this fall: Solar (white) and Nexus YB...and of course we're all still awaiting the relaunch of Nexus BB .
The Arlig MB has been available for a while in most markets.
Later this year IKEA plans to introduce hinges with the soft-close feature .
I was looking forward to it for so long and was disappointed when I found out it wasn't going to be wood or at least veneer. I was hoping it would be a slab, veneer door similar to Hallarum.
On Friday, June 22, Bobby of Ikea San Diego mentioned the "new white one" with built-in handles or catches, and the Nexus in yellow brown, similar to a golden oak color. Both are expected to be in the stores in August.. He said to expect a price hike on July 1 and that "the lowest priced doors, won't be the lowest any more."
He also said that in Aug or Sept, we should look for a 24-inch single-bowl farmhouse sink. It is set to sell for $179.
