Under Counter Microwave

I'm planning on taking 30" base unit and putting a microwave in the top half and then putting a set of shorter doors on the bottom. (Do they make 15"x15" doors?) I'd like to use a trim kit to make the microwave look built in and provide ventilation for the oven.

The trick seems to be finding a trim kit that is the right height so that I don't have to go modifying the bottom doors for height. We're using Adel White so cutting doors really isn't an option.

I'm not partial to any particular microwave manufacturer. Has anybody done this successfully? What microwave model and trim kit did you use?

Thanks!

I was hoping to stick with the factory trim kits, but that is good to know that there is another option if I can't make it work. Thanks!

15" x 15" doors

There are 15" high x 15" wide doors available. They are the doors for a 30" wide x 15"high fan cabinet.
