All of a sudden I can't get any of the objects in my room to move

Hey Folks, first timer here but I was going along building my kitchen on my Mac book Pro and then all of a sudden it won't let me move any of the objects in the kitchen. Right before it happened I was having difficulty with my stove vent. Any ideas?

Re: All of a sudden I can't get any of the objects in my room to move

The Ikea Kitchen Planner is the software we love to use - and love to hate. I don't have a Mac, but I've had similar problems in the past, and I've noticed that occasional plans posted by others also seem shaky or glitchy.

When it's happened to me, I've just started over. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but past experience tells me that once I've run into an issue with a particular design, I'm going to continue to have problems with it. If I exit the planner, sign in again and start with a blank slate, the next time it will work.

I'm very glad to know that the world's leaders aren't using the Ikea software when they're toying with the idea of missile launches.

Re: All of a sudden I can't get any of the objects in my room to move

I am using Mac OS 10.7.3 (planner just recently available for this OS) and the same thing happens to me - makes no difference if I am working from a saved layout or from scratch. I can get walls and windows OK, some cabinets - some appliances, but as soon as I try to put fixtures, range, or hoods the program starts to get strange. Can't move things around corners or rotate the objects.

Same thing usually happens with my older OS computers.

I don't have any Windows OS available - guess I will have to go to the store to use their computers...
