Me again... desperately trying to get it right!

So we had our electrician/plumber friend out this Saturday and he gave the OK to move the plumbing! YAY! He also made the plans for the electrical stuff - based on one plan, but I had some issues with it so I'm revising... much to my husbands dismay... lol He doesn't stress about "getting it right" like I am, because I'm the one that has to be in there everyday cooking... lol

Anyhoo... here are the links...

Original that electrical was planned around:

And my revisions:

(that long half wall is actually the wall to the garage, but I needed to shrink it for viewing purposes.)

So explanation...
Problem 1: The area where the microwave cabinet was in the original and the corner by the fridge seemed very crowded and awkward. I foreseen many events of slamming the back of my head into the microwave shelf. OW! LOL Also, would like to keep that wall open for a window later on.

Problem 2: I am heartbroken over not having my super deep double sink that I don't see getting into a 30" cabinet. However, I didn't really want a whole bunch of dark unusable space under the sink either. So, I'm thinking of hacking the 36" cooktop drawer base. Sink on top, one big pullout underneath holding garbage and recyclables.

Problem 3: We are not getting a dishwasher for quite some time, although I'm keeping a 24" base cabinet in there for when the time does come. Until then, we have a lot of stuff that piles up on the counters throughout the day... I ain't gonna lie, I hate dishes and they only get done once a day! LOL I need a lot of space on the right of the sink for collecting dirties, but my big sink and even bigger sink base doesn't give me much options. So, I thought of making a little island type space there with the shallow base cabinets. Which will come in super handy for kid snacks and/or napkins and such.

Since my husband is refusing any more assistance (he really wasn't offering much to begin with in fear of me blaming him for problems in the future... lol) I wanted to ask your opinions on what might be a problem.

OH... and there will be the infamous Ikea pantry in the near future in the awkward closet, but that's going to come a bit later. Unless I can keep the budget on everything else low enough to get it sooner! (And I already saved $100 by finding an awesome deal on cabinet pulls that look exactly like the stainless bar style of Ikeas on overstock.com... 25 of them for $50! YAY!)

Also, This is going to be the stove hood...
