I need to know the actual widths of a 24" cabinet - I need the carcass size, the internal width, etc. Anyone know where I can find this?
From other posts I seem to surmise (I don't find it listed anywhere actually) that you lose 1.5 inches for the carcass. So would it be accurate to say that the carcass wall is .75 inches? With an internal width of 22.5?
I ask because I'm trying to order a set of aluminum roller doors and there measurements are in mm. Right now based on my conversions I'm 6mm off... but mm are small so exact measurements are needed.
The tambour doors in aluminum that I want are made to fit a carcass with
18mm sides (1 mm off) or .71 inches
And an internal space of 564mm or 22.2 inches
I think you'd probably be able to get the metric measurements from one of our European or Canadian friends. The imperial measurements are conversions from metric and are therefore not as accurate. Hopefully someone with a metric ruler will chime in!
