Question Help! Can't find Fridge cabinet & panel in planning tool

In the Planner Tool I'm having a hard time finding a cabinet (Adel medium brown) to fit the full width and height of my 70" tall/ 35" wide /31" deep fridge.

Also the I want the side of the fridge completely covered with a panel and I can't find that size either. I've seen pictures where people have done it, but I can't find those pieces in the planning tool. Is there such a way? I'm going tomorrow to order my kitchen and I want to be ready with everything I want.

Re: Help! Can't find Fridge cabinet & panel in planning tool

CVmom,
There is no "refrigerator" cabinet. You can order the pieces to fit around the refrigerator to make it look built-in. There is also no panel in the US Ikeas for the front of your refrigerator. I think some people have managed to create their own, but I am not sure how they did that.

To make cabinets to make your refrigerator look built in, start with a over the refrigerator cabinet 36" wide and tall enough to go the same height as the cabinets on either side. If possible, having 24" deep tall pantry cabinets on either side of the refrigerator adds to the effect. Since your refrigerator is not cabinet depth, you may want to recess the back of it or pull the cabinets around it out to give the illusion that it is.

Check in the Galleries here for ideas and in the Assembly-Installation and Modifications sections for the practical part of how to.

Re: Help! Can't find Fridge cabinet & panel in planning tool

I would suggest planning a 36" wide space for the fridge, even though your current fridge is only 31". In the future when you need to replace it, you'll likely find the majority of fridges are 36".

The overfridge cabinets are 24" deep. If you want a "built in" look, you'll need to build a frame out from the wall for that cabinet to attach to that brings it out to 30", then purchase oven cover panels which are 36" wide and cut them to size for the sides.
