Probems with cooker canopy! help!

Hi

we have brought a cooker canopy for our new ikea kitchen and its exactly 60 cm wide wich is the width of the 60cm wide hob unit that ikea sell only at each side of that unit with have 30cm wall units leaving a 60cm wide gap for a hood! now on installing the end panels to these cabinets the gap is now 28mm to small for the canopy! any ideas?

Mark where the extractor hood will conflict with the cover panels on the cover panel itself. Remove them, cut out the area, and reinstall.

Thanks for your help. the canopy we have is a curved glass one its the edges of the glass that are conflicting!

Thanks for your help. the canopy we have is a curved glass one its the edges of the glass that are conflicting! i thought ikea would of made the end panels like a replacement panel to one of the cabs and you asemble it in with the cabinet insted of the one supplied witht the shelve holes in
